Job Description
Secure Transportation, leader in the non-emergency medical transportation industry, with 30+ years providing excellent customer service to its passengers, clients, and customers, is hiring full time drivers with license Class A or B with passenger endorsement for its Riverside operation.
Summary Description
Drivers should be courteous and friendly and be able to deliver excellent customer service. Drivers must provide a current K4 DMV printout with applying (Valid 30 days from application), must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen test, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass physical exam. Applicants' available work hours must be flexible. Mostly day shifts.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection check on all vehicles driving; making sure all wheelchairs or any other devices are tied down properly; drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner; must be able to communicate with clients, dispatchers, and supervisors regarding concerns and/or issues.
Education & Training
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Valid commercial driver’s license Class A or B with passenger endorsement. Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required, we will provide training and certification. Drivers with Class A or B must also have a valid Medical Certificate.
Knowledge and Experience
Experienced driving corporate clients and para-transit vehicles are a plus. Must have a driver’s license for at least five (5) years. No more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years. Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS.

Working Conditions
Drivers must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Driver must be able to assist clients getting in and out of vehicle, as well as assist in transferring clients in and out of wheelchairs.
Work schedule is flexible, mostly day shifts.
Full time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefit package after 60 days of employment that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, vacation, sick, and Holiday pay.
Physical Requirements
Driver must be able to past the physical. Lift up to 100 LBS, push and pull up to 200 LBS, bend from the waist, pivot from waist, be able to move from a standing position to kneeling position back to standing.
