Xamax Industries, Incorporated is a woman owned company headquartered in Seymour, CT, USA. It was founded in 1949 as a supplier and converter of paper insulation for wire and cable manufacturers. For nearly 70 years, Xamax has expanded globally by inventing, manufacturing and distributing material layers consisting of non-woven fabrics, technical papers, films, and laminates.
Under the leadership and vision of President, CEO and Chief Innovator, Martin Weinberg, Xamax expanded to serve four primary markets; FRP Composites (thermoplastic and thermoset), electrical wire and cable, cotton-based personal care, and interleaving. Martin built Xamax based on his values, inventiveness, energy and commitment; Xamax retains these values and will build on Martin’s legacy in his memory following his unexpected death in October 2018.
