Sahling Kenworth has three full-service parts, truck sales, and service stores, covering most of Nebraska and parts of Kansas. These locations currently include the Nebraska towns of York, Columbus, and Kearney.
In 1968, Robert P. “Bob” Sahling started Sahling Truck and Trailer in Kearney, Nebraska. That company sold used trucks, as well as new and used semitrailers. In 1972, with the addition of new Kenworth truck sales,
the company became known as Sahling Kenworth. The Kearney body shop was added in 1983, truck and trailer leasing services followed in 1986.
In 2010, the Columbus parts store became a full-service truck parts, sales, and service branch. The success of this expansion project would lead to yet another expansion in 2018. When completed, the 2018 expansion effectively doubled the branch’s service capacity.
Sahling Kenworth was built on a simple, yet strong principle – customer
care and service are the highest priorities of all who work under the
Sahling Kenworth name. That heritage lives on today under the CSM Companies umbrella. CSM completed a gradual buyout of Sahling Kenworth in 2015, helping create the second largest Kenworth Dealer group in the world.
Today, Sahling Kenworth sells new and used medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles — from class 5 through class 8 trucks (and trailers). Leasing and Financing options are also offered as an in-house option for perspective buyers. Sahling Kenworth also leverages the PACCAR PDC Network, and the CSM Central Parts System, where millions of dollars in parts inventory is just a day away.
