This is a pathology laboratory where we make microscope slides from surgical specimens, used in disease diagnosis. The trade is called histology and there are plenty of youtube videos. After a person has surgery the specimen is sent to a pathology laboratory where it is dissected and submitted to a histology lab for "processing" we run the tissue through a machine and then, using a microtome, make microscope slides for a pathologist to look at under a microscope, they make a diagnosis on the patient.
