Who we are: Our team includes 8 clinicians, representing a variety of disciplines. We also include a Program Support Assistant who provides administrative support to the team and an Outreach Specialist who links clients and staff with community resources. We currently have openings for a licensed Social Worker, Psychologist, Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage & Family Therapist.

What we do: Provide a variety of mental health and wellness services to eligible veterans and military service members and their families. Clients are eligible for Vet Center services based on deployments in support of a combat mission, Military Sexual Trauma, or other trauma-related eligibility criteria, and present with a wide variety of clinical needs, including PTSD, anxiety disorders, problematic substance use, moral injury, transition from military to civilian life, everyday stressors, and bereavement. Many HVC clients are first responders, students, or current National Guard or Reserve servicemembers. We provide a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including:

· Evidence-based mental health treatment

· Couples and family services

· Recovery-focused wellness activities

· Bereavement services for Gold Star family members

· Individual and group therapy

· Community outreach and advocacy

Vet Centers offer employees:

· Flexible work schedules, including compressed schedules and evening/weekend hours

· Annual $800 stipend to use for CE or other training

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $66,757.00 - $104,996.00 per year

GS9 for counselors not yet fully licensed, GS11 for fully licensed counselors

Expected hours: 40 per week
