Masonry Preservation Associates in Portland was established in 2005 by president Peter B Chavonelle Jr. Our company specializes in the historic preservation of masonry structures throughout Southern and Coastal Maine. We are skilled in water mediation, caulking, scaffolding, and the repair and replacement of chimney liners, the solid flue under chimney liners, and ceilings. We service residential and commercial clients and utilize the National Park Service Standards. We use specialized tools and methods of repair that are tailored to each project. Our staff consists of craftsmen who are trained in all aspects of preservation and restoration and/or have a genuine interest in our field of experience.
