Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installations of production and packaging line equipment and machinery as well as modify facilities, buildings and grounds according to a set schedule as well as in emergency and non-emergency situations. While observing all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met, to maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machines and equipment (includes facility, production, and support systems).
Requires experience with AC/DC motor drives and related controls.
Uses fabrication skills to make assemblies as directed.
Requires electrical blueprint reading and electrical troubleshooting skills for repairing equipment.
Some experience with PLC systems is required.
Regularly diagnoses malfunctions of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Assists with assembling and installation of industrial equipment.
Establish PM requirements for equipment and systems.
Perform PM duties and maintain the required documentation.
Perform project work as directed for improvements being implemented.
Basic computer skills are required for maintaining documentation and other activities.
Requisitions supplies, spare parts, and repair items.
Follows all company safety procedures and practices.
Must be flexible to adjust work hours for meeting company needs.
Recommends measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Maintains time and production records.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Do other related work as required.
As part of the respective job, the employee will be required to train, audit, and mentor other employees or jobs as neededInspect work and work area, perform clean-up using proper tools and equipment; perform general carpentry, plumbing, masonry and scheduled maintenance on buildings, equipment and grounds; perform PM tasks on equipment as required and special projects as assigned; assist all trades with repairs, replacements, modifications to equipment, machinery, wiring, piping as directed; complete all other related duties as assigned by Supervisor. At end of shift secure all equipment, complete all required paperwork, perform general housekeeping and clean-up as required.
