Worthington Specialty Processing is looking for a Maintenance Technician for their Cleveland, Ohio facility with advanced experience in both electrical and mechanical (Multi-craft) maintenance.  Interested candidates should upload a resume documenting education and/or experience.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

  • Complete mechanical and electrical repairs and makes adjustments as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned
  • Successfully troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction
  • Perform advanced failure root cause analysis
  • Modify PLC & HMI programming
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately
  • Coordinate and install projects & upgrades
  • May perform advanced machining
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills for this position

  • Perform failure root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical, plumbing and code books
  • Mechanical, welding and cutting skills
  • Able to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
  • Knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, PLC ad SLC controllers and motor control circuits
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • PLC programming and drive programming skills
  • 5-7 years of maintenance experience
