Full-Time & Part-Time Patrol Deputies

 

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, located in mid-coast Maine is currently accepting applications for the position of Patrol Deputy. 

Lincoln County offers an excellent incentive package to include employee and dependent health, medical, vision, and dental coverage.  The full-time position is offered a Maine State Retirement plan with 25-year no-age requirement at ½ pay upon retirement.  Lateral transfer credits up to 6 years are also available.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must complete the Maine Criminal Justice Academy ALERT test prior to applicant testing. (Alert testing is conducted the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.  Please call 207-877-8000 to make an appointment.)
  • Applicants must be willing to participate in all phases of this preliminary testing process, which may include a physical agility test, written test, oral board and several interviews.
  • Meet all requirements set by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office job description.

For the first round of opportunities, applications will be accepted until 4:00pm on Friday May 31, 2019.  Applications are available at the Sheriff’s Office (207-882-6576), 42 Bath Road, Wiscasset, Maine, Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4pm or from our website (www.lincolnso.me).  Additional information will be available upon receipt of completed applications.
