Job Description

SMZ is looking for a motivated, organized and hard-working individual to fill our Billing

Coordinator position. The Billing Coordinator works with all media and production

related clients and their account groups. We train to have our billing team members

knowledgeable about all areas of billing, but they specialize in one or two media

categories.

Responsibilities Include

Accurate & timely client invoicing:

Broadcast (TV/Radio/Cable) via Strata/Advantage

Print, Digital, Out of Home via open orders report

Production via open jobs report

Follow-up and follow-though on invoice collection and posting from

vendor partners to allow

Reconciliation of all programs, including final invoices, per the specific

client terms

Maintaining electronic records of all programs for audit purposes

Assist with vendor partner statement review and discrepancy resolution

Develop good relationships with media team and vendor partners

Maintain the media and production work in process (WIP) reports

Assist Traffic Coordinator with new job creation (Production)

Requirements

Some college, and a degree or certificate in a billing or accounting program is

preferred

Excel - formulas and formatting

Google Docs - ability to use/create/share, especially spreadsheets

Well-organized with time-management skills and a proactive attitude

Thoughtful communicator with an eagerness to learn
