Landscape Construction Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Supervisor to oversee our landscape projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of landscape construction processes. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the workforce, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

 Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations on the project site, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications and within deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage crew members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers and design teams regarding progress and report any issues that arise.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project goals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain safety standards on all job sites.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment, tools, and company vehicles.
  • Monitor and maintain the crew members’ hours accurately in time management software.
  • Upload site notes and pictures daily.
  • Review drawings and then communicate effectively with the crew to ensure tasks and instructions are understood.
  • Work with the Project Managers to create weekly and monthly schedules and determine materials that will be needed.
  • Submit daily material requests for any last-minute items.·         

Requirement/ Skills·         

  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Proven landscape installation experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and drawings.
  • Perform onsite tasks while supervising a crew of 3 or 4 members.
  • Experience using equipment such as a skid steer, excavator, and concrete tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
